Hi, I am an American architect (buildings!) by training with seven years of experience in NYC and bootcamp graduates in both full-stack and front-end development. In the architecture industry, I have been passionate about incorporating computational solutions and always sought out ways of improving project workflows through the use of visual scripting tools or plug-in applications for BIM & 3D Modeling software. This fascination and curiosity with coding for several years ultimately lead me to finally pivot seriously into programming.
In Fall 2020, I moved to Barcelona, Spain, to be reunited with my partner after Covid-19 restrictions disrupted our marriage plans in the United States. I further became inspired to pursue coding & full-stack development after following Architechies – a community of interdisciplinary architects who are heavily involved within the tech. industry, and who’s unusual background are an asset in helping them create meaningful digital products.
I enjoy creating JavaScript full-stack web applications primarily with the MEAN & MERN Stacks (MongoDB, Express, Angular or React, Node.js).
I also enjoy the opportunity to participate in tech. events and hackathons in Barcelona, and have had the fortune to be the winning team twice at the NUWE – Decathlon Challenge and the NUWE – Jornada de Talent Digital Hackathons.
